Worksop Rotary Club and School Council

We were delighted that our school council had the opportunity to work with Peter Swinscoe and members of the local Rotary Club today. The staff of Haggonfields are proud to have such strong links with our community. The Rotary Club kindly donated 1,000 crocus corns. The Rotary Club volunteered their time to weed and prepare the four raised flowerbeds on the school grounds. Our School Council helped to plant the bulbs. The colour of the crocus petals will be purple which is symbolic of the Rotary Club’s work as part of the ‘End Polio Now’ campaign.
