  • Covid-19 Update

    Thu 31 Dec 2020 Mrs H-S

Following the recent government announcement, Nottinghamshire (including Bassetlaw) is set to be placed under Tier 4 restrictions from 31st December.

Tier 4 is a 'Stay at Home' alert with tighter restrictions. Our staff will continue to follow the systems and procedures that we currently have in place to ensure the safety of our whole school community. Rest assured that our risk assessments are regularly reviewed and we continue to act on government guidance.

  • Farewell Assembly

    Fri 18 Dec 2020 Mrs H-S

In our final Celebration assembly of the year, we said ‘goodbye’ to three members of staff. At Haggonfields Primary School, every member of our staff team is valued. We are sad to say goodbye to Mrs. Tamdi, Miss Tokell and Mrs. Bradford today. It was lovely to see Mrs. Bishop when she visited today to join us for our farewell assembly. We presented them with their cards and gifts to thank them for their contributions to our school.

The winner of the ‘Best Christmas Jumper’ was Kohen Priestley from Cygnus Class! It was hard to choose from so many fantastic outfits…but his flashing fairy lights were amazing!

  • The Big Christmas Takeaway - Christmas Food Project 2020

    Fri 04 Dec 2020 Mrs H-S

Christ Church and St. Luke's have organised a community food project over the Christmas period. They will be providing free meals for those in need in our local communities in Worksop and Rhodesia. Families, or individuals, who are struggling are invited to go to one of the collection points and receive a simple bagged lunch - including a sandwich, snacks and a drink. They ask only that each person receives one meal per day and gives their details so that we can help them find further support from other organisations. They have initially been provided with 30 sandwiches per day and will operate on a first come, first served basis.

    Time: Monday 21st December - Sunday 3rd January (excluding 25th December/ 1st January): 12pm - 1pm.

Location: Christ Church, Worksop & outside the Woodhouse Inn, Rhodesia.
